Liberia Contracts

Envirodrill has been awarded a multiple rig core drilling contract for Amlib United Minerals at 2 licence areas in Liberia to take place during the annual rainy season. An Atlas Copco CS1000 and CS14 drill rigs are currently deployed on the project and a minimum of 5000 metres are expected to be drilled over the next 12 weeks. Envirodrill also expects to shortly commence the next phase of drilling at Mano Rivers’ New Liberty Gold Mine property which is earmarked for mine development after completion of a Bank feasibility study. With 10 years experience of operating in the country Envirodrill expects to continue its expansion in Liberia as mining companies pursue Gold, Diamond and Iron Ore prospects I the country.


Sierra Leone Contracts

Envirodrills’ new MD3 Explorer drill has commenced core drilling operations at the Mano River//BHP JV Tongo property in Sierra Leone on an initial phase of exploration drilling. Exploration drilling continues at Axmin Incs’ Nimini property using a Hydracore 28 drill with over 2400 metres completed to date. Envirodrill has recently completed a 1000m shallow diamond sampling program in the Kono region using 4 ¼" and 6 5/8" Hollow Stem Auger equipment, the program was drilled and sampled to depths of 25 metres in the soft overburden with this equipment.


The Envirodrill Team

Envirodrill has appointed a new operations manager for West Africa, Garry Sprawson brings 30 years of global contract management to the Company and is overseeing a reorganisation of the companies expanding West African operations. Mike Brown is leaving Envirodrill Ltd to work full time for its Canadian sister Company RADS, based in Toronto Mike will continue expansion of the companies contract supply operations. Envirodrill has also appointed a new General Manager in the UK, stepping into Mikes’ shoes, Paul Holland, has been associated with the international drilling industry for more than 20 years.
